We are a small kennel established in 1981, when we delved for the first time in the Dobermann world. Our first bitch was Twiggy, she was sired by Ch Swanwite Flame Successor. She was hard work in every sense of the word, but we loved her, shortly after we were adopted by Copper & she really stole our hearts. She had the most loving temperament & we've had a soft spot for brown bitches ever since.

She was mated three times, once to a Canadian import, once to Ch Jenicks Cruise Missile, which produced the RCC winning 'Diego's Double Trouble', & finally to Knecht Miester Klasse, which produced the Scottish Dobermann Club Top Points Winning Bitch 'Diego's Blackbird'.

We lost both these bitches at 12 & 13 respectively, & shed many tears.

Coppers brown daughter was mated back to her uncle Jenicks Blackjak, this produced the RCC winning male Diego's Rocketeer. We retained a black daughter, Diego's Roulette, Rosie, unfortunately at only fourteen months she took Auto Immune Disease, we nearly lost her but she was to prove a real fighter throughout her life but that's another story! She was spayed when she had recovered sufficiently on the vet schools advice.

I then went to the famous Sallate kennel & purchased a male Sallate Jaguar, he grew to be an all male dobermann & at times was a handful. Sadly he died very young from a rare condition called Addisons Disease. It broke our hearts & had we not just shortly before got a puppy I think we may have given up completely.

That puppy was Sallate Jenna, she was a daughter of the prolific Ch Sallate Levi & we feel very privileged to have her.

She was mated twice to Graaf Xandy v Neerlands Stam, the first litter was registered under the Sallate affix as she was on breeding terms to Graham Hunt. This was the very special 'S' litter, the first champion from this combination was Sallate Striptease, she won best of breed at Crufts two years in succession & the working group in 1999. Her brother gained his title in1999, he was the last champion of the twentieth century. In the wings is Sallate Seduction she has two CC's & 3RCC's, just hoping for the elusive third.

The second litter produced our own Diego's Maranello, Eddi & Diego's Berlinetta & in Ireland Diego's Testa Rosa.

Their brother was exported to Finland & has won 1CC's, he is owned & loved by Pirjo Pulli, he too searches for that elusive third ticket.

Sallate Seduction was mated to Ch Cloudybay Deadringer for Amazon & she produced our latest litter, these are now being shown with some success.

We only breed very occasionally & try to produce happy healthy puppies, investing time & effort in the rearing, so only the the best owners will do.
